From the ground up.
Shane Woods is the sole owner of W Homes, a custom residential home building company serving Wichita, KS and surrounding areas. He has been active in the home building industry for over 20 years, with over 50 homes as the principal builder, and another 350+ homes as secondary. His commitment to excellence is conveyed through his dedication to customer satisfaction, and desire to exceed expectations. He is a member of the Wichita Area Builders Association. Not your average builder.
Casual... Relatable... Genuine...Not typically the words you’d think of when describing a builder’s personality. But Shane isn’t one for stuffy stereotypes! Your chances of meeting him in a suit and tie are actually zero. You’re more likely to find him in a cut-off, onsite, covered in dust. Or maybe at the lake, throwing his kids off the deck of the boat. Whatever the case, it won’t take long to see that his approach to life is mirrored in his business: work hard, build relationships, celebrate success.
We’re small. And we like it that way.
Being a small company means there’s only one person to answer to. Does he have help? Of course! But Shane is involved in every step of the process, and the buck stops with him. You work directly with the man in charge to ensure that your vision translates to reality. Many builders only show up onsite when something goes wrong. Lucky for you, that’s not how we operate!
